Description
Faced with two aged, noisy and failing burners, UAL asked
Killam Gas Burner Co. to replace the burners on their 500 HP Kewanee firetube boilers.
Work was completed in Summer 2001, giving these vintage boilers a new lease on life.
Equipment provided
Killam installed two S.T.
Johnson model FD68G500M burners featuring state-of-the-art microprocessor based
combustion control and parallel fuel-air positioning.
Variable frequency drives control blower speeds to provide exceptional electrical savings and diminish boiler room noise.
